The Hemodiss Pump Generator (HG1)
is an electrosurgical generator equipped with a rotating peristaltic pump that must be exclusively used with the Hemodiss disposable bipolar devices for the simultaneous delivery of radio frequency energy (RF) and saline solution to achieve hemostatic closure of soft tissues and bone during surgery.
Main Features:
- Simultaneous delivery of RF power and saline solution
- 20-200 watt power setting: the generator delivers bipolar RF power with power settings for 20 watt increments in a range of 20 to 200 watts. In the event of increased tissue strength, the unit senses high resistance and reduces the RF power output, regardless of the front panel settings, to a level that prevents electric arcs and cuts.
- Automatic settings for the flow rate of the saline solution: it is determined according to the steps chosen during the adjustment phase. The flow rate is independent from the selected RF power and can be adjusted by pressing the corresponding buttons with steps 1 to 10 on the front panel of the Hemodiss Pump Generator. The flow level step is shown on the LCD display.
- Possibility to select 9 different flow speed steps
- Practical priming mode: with one button it is possible to fill the Hemodiss disposable bipolar device with saline solution before use and after the correct connection of the device to the unit. This function can be activated by pressing the “PRIMING” (start priming) button on the unit
