BRF LARO PROBE BIPOLAR RADIOFREQUENCY LAPAROSCOPIC

The project aims to develop and market a new family of electrodes that, combined with a cutting-edge bipolar radiofrequency platform, enables haemostasis and dissection during surgery. This includes general surgery, oncology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, maxillofacial surgery, and neurosurgery, as well as laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

The patented technological solution radically expands haemostasis and dissection treatment techniques. In particular, it can be implemented in anatomical locations in which current therapeutic options are severely lacking.

The solutions implemented in the BRF-LaRo Probe project will extend the possibilities of using bipolar radiofrequency treatment to a significant number of patients.

The project is co-financed by the European Union, the Italian State, and the Campania Region, as part of the Campania ERDF Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, within the framework of the Public Notice “Campania Start-up 2020.” CUP B68I1900049000
